General Manager Sales (Automobile) (Ref: 479)

Global Profilers is a Recruitment and HR Services firm that specializes in recruitment in Africa. We are currently looking for a General Manager Sales fo our cient who is an Automobile Company.



  • Achieve target and develop an effective Sales team
  • Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with
  • Manage personnel and develop sales and sales support staff.
  • Review progress of sales roles throughout the company.
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Develop specific plan to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
  • Provide quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
  • Coordinate proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Formulate all sales policies, practices and procedures.
  • Assist sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers.
  • Develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  • Interpret short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
  • Educatessales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
  • Review expenses and recommend economies.
  • Hold regular meeting with sales staff


Qualification and Experience:

  • MBA Marketing and Sales preferred with excellent sales record
  • Minimum 15 to 20 years experience in Frontline Sales including 10 years in any automobile distributorship and presently holding Senior Managerial Cadre in Sales
  • Extensive direct experience in Sales and Pe-sales in Automobile industry
