Credit Analyst - Commercial Clients
βΆ Primarily responsible for managing the credit risk associated with allotted Business Credit Application (BCA) Portfolio and ensuring high quality of the portfolio within the Commercial Clients' Segment.
βΆ Closely work with the RMs and Team Leads from the origination & play a vital role in deal structuring to add good value from a Credit Policy and Underwriting perspective.
βΆ Work with the RMs on allotted portfolio and facilitate revenue growth in the portfolio.
βΆ Ensure quality Credit Analysis throughput and speedy BCA completion.
βΆ Participate and contribute to other Balance Sheet optimization oriented activities like asset pricing, facility structuring, etc
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES KEY ACTIVITIES
βΆ Interact with the client, gather deal requirements, financial statements and other inputs for performing quality analysis and due diligence.
βΆ Work with RM/product partners in structuring credit solutions for the clients and ensuring the appropriateness of the products.
βΆ Work with the RM, in:
a) Obtaining all pre clearances like ER negativity, segmentation, etc.
b) Deals Structuring and other account optimization initiatives
c) Expediting approvals.
βΆ Responsible for end-to-end BCA process including preparing all the tools like RAPTOR/ EL Calc, Scorecard, etc, in-depth analysis of various risks, quality presentation and ensuring fast credit approval.
βΆ Visit Clients operational base with the Relationship Manager (RM) prior to BCA renewals
βΆ Ensure compliance of all internal and regulatory credit/other portfolio related policies e.g. preparing the Country portfolio standard checklist, Temasek check, other special reporting requirements, etc.
βΆ Liaise with GAM Credit for limit approval/allocation.
Post Deal Account monitoring
βΆ Promptly carry out Interim BCA reviews and amendments as the business demands
βΆ Ensure Zero BCA over due and extensions not breaching the required threshold.
βΆ Liaise with Credit on BCA and other credit issues and ensure quick turnaround on queries.
βΆ Proper maintenance of Credit files and ensuring Audit Readiness at all times
βΆ Attend Early Alert Reporting (EAR)/ Portfolio call calls along with the RMs
βΆ In partnership with the RM, ensure timely identification of accounts to be put in Early Alert (EAR) as per the bank's policies and guidelines
βΆ Maintain close contact with the borrowing clients on an ongoing basis
βΆ Ensure that Credit Files are up to date at all times
Others βΆ Prepare timely Stress Tests wherever required
βΆ Prepare specific industry study
βΆ In partnership with the RM, approve the TAS request as per the bank's policy (only FI specific).
βΆ Work on specific request from custody for limits (only FI specific)
βΆ Prepare PMC report (only FI specific). Prepare summary sheets for FIS (only FI specific)
βΆ Prepare Credit Opinion reports wherever required.
βΆ Effective use of CreditMate, RMWB, and other proprietary tools
