Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee business and marketing operations DOVICHI SERVICES in Nigeria and across Africa including product development and IT projects, business development, content acquisition/management and customer service etc.
  • Represent the firm with clients, investors, and business partners.
  • Advice the company on new strategies and partnerships to build and grow the company's portfolio.
  • Build and expand business relationships with app developers, performance marketing agencies, OEMs, Telcos, media agencies and other relevant industry agencies.
  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
  • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass user base targets, sales, profitability, cash flow, business goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
  • Motivate and lead a high performance management team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the executive team not currently in place; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program.


  • Minimum B.Sc or BA Degree with at least 6 years of prior work experience in a senior executive role.
  • Proven track record and technical know-how within the industry
  • Ability to manage team and demonstrate high leadership quality
  • Analytic and decisive decision making skills, ability to prioritize - and communicate to staff - key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial opportunities within the telecommunications and mobile technology industry and a passion for mobile communications.
  • The candidate for this position should have up to 6 years of post NYSC experience and preferably, should be within the Telecommunications or Advertising/Marketing sector.
  • Candidate should be able to demonstrate a know-how to of business operations in these sectors and should have lead a team within the period of career.
  • Preferred candidate will report directly to the CEO.
